Non-activated molecular sieve powder 5A is the raw material of molecular sieve 5A and activated molecular sieve powder 5A. Molecular sieve powder 5A is produced by iron exchange of molecular sieve powder 4A with calcium chloride solution. Part of the sodium ion in zeolite 4A is replaced by calcium ion, which makes the pore size larger. Molecular sieve powder 5A can adsorb molecues with critical diameter less than 5 angstroms(0.5 nm).
